There is really nothing cooler than a bunch of shirtless, oiled-up dudes with flattops playing beach volleyball and slapping aggressive high fives.  When I first saw this famous scene in Top Gun, I knew for a FACT that Val Kilmer was going places.  Unfortunately, my prediction did not take into account the unlikely event that he would lose the flattop.  Sorry, Val, hindsight is always 20-20 and it's crystal clear that eliminating the flattop was a devistating move.
